To assist the Shop Manager/Deputy Shop Manager in promoting the work that St Luke’s undertakes within the community of Sheffield. To provide an efficient and effective customer service to the visitors of the shop and to ensure appropriate standards of security and health and safety are met and maintained at all times.

Our retail volunteers assist the Shop Manager/Deputy Shop Manager in the day-to-day running of our shops, both on the shop floor and behind the scenes. This includes everything from unpacking donations and categorising donations, to serving customers at the till, to organising the shop floor and creating beautiful window displays.

Within the general Retail Volunteer role you can choose to specialise in the areas of your interest. We have developed several 'sub-roles' to help suit your different personalities and skills. These include:

- Queue Buster
- Donations Greeter
- Gift Aid Generator
- Steamer
- Stockroom Assistant
- Till Operator
- Visual Merchandiser
- Warehouse Assistant
