Could you be the newest member of our Crookes volunteer team? As a Donations Door Volunteer, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming those who come to donate items. You’ll assist with their donations, explain Gift Aid, and help with moving and lifting heavier items. It’s a busy but incredibly rewarding role, ideal for anyone who loves engaging with people.

The Fundraising department needs drivers to help us deliver empty collection tins and collect full collection tins in the community & work establishments across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. Money raised through collection tins greatly impacts on the work of the hospice by contributing vital funds, providing a stable source of income and helping to raise the profile of St Luke’s within all communities in Sheffield.

Could you spare a morning or two each month to help St Luke’s raise over £500 in the community? As a Collection Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our hospice by raising essential funds, ensuring a stable income, and boosting St Luke’s profile throughout Sheffield.

Our retail volunteers assist the Shop Manager in all aspects of running our shops; including preparing our donations for the shop floor, keeping our stock room clean and organised, serving customers and visual merchandising. Volunteers can choose to specialise in any tasks or areas of the shop that they particularly enjoy. (Age 14+)

Our Retail Department provides a third of St Luke’s funds to support the people of Sheffield. We are looking for volunteers to help us keep our shop floor and back of house area clean, tidy and safe to provide a welcoming environment for our customers, volunteers and staff. (Age 14+)

Here at St Luke’s we have established a growing online trading operation which makes a substantial contribution to the retail operation. We are looking for eBay Researchers and Listing Volunteers to help with our online store. (Age 16+)

We have some fabulous placement opportunities in our shops and Donation Centre where you can learn customer service skills, how to operate a till, merchandising skills, being part of a team and much more.
