The CQC exists to ensure that a wide range of healthcare services in England are meeting government standards. Its latest report about St Luke's was published on 10 January 2017.
On 17 and 18 October 2016, inspectors from the CQC paid an unannounced visit to St Luke's to assess our compliance with the legal requirements and regulations associated with the Health and Social Care Act 2008, and to pilot a new inspection process being introduced by the CQC which looks at the overall quality of the service.
The CQC report on this inspection, published on 10 January 2017, confirmed that St Luke's complies with all those standards, with an overall rating of
Outstanding. It also includes quotes from the patients, relatives and staff with whom the inspectors interviewed during the visit.
