Volunteer at our events

We have so many exciting opportunities for groups and individuals to get involved in, from supporting our runners at Sheffield 10k, to candle lighting at Festival of Light! Event volunteering is very ad hoc, doesn't require much commitment and is really great fun!

Benefits to event volunteering:

  • Great way to meet new people
  • Many fun roles available
  • Gain new skills and experience
  • Flexible, ad-hoc volunteering

Calling All Football Fans! We’re thrilled to announce yet another St Luke’s Hospice Sheffield United Football Club take-over day! On Saturday 21 September, we’re teaming up with Sheffield United for an unforgettable game against Derby – and we need your help to make it a massive success!

Here’s your chance to get involved and show your support for a great cause while enjoying an action-packed match:

What's in store?

  • Be a Game-Changer: Help us by collecting donations outside Bramall Lane Stadium before the match kicks off. Every penny raised will help us to keep providing compassionate care to Sheffield families.
  • Enjoy the Match: As a thank you, all our fantastic collectors will receive a free ticket to watch Sheffield United in action after your shift.

In February 2024, our Sheffield United bucket collection raised an amazing £2209.58 raised for St Luke’s – and we believe we can aim even higher this time!

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to get involved and cheer on your team while supporting St Luke's. We can’t wait to hear from you!
