St Luke’s is seeking a Head of Retail to lead our retail team in Sheffield. In this pivotal role, you'll craft and implement innovative retail strategies, drive both shop-floor and online sales, and ensure operational excellence across our retail estate. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Retail Strategy: Craft a dynamic retail strategy that aligns with our organizational goals to maximize shop-floor and online sales.
  2. Data-Driven Decision Making: Lead with insights by using data to inform decisions and take strategic actions.
  3. Financial Management: Ensure sustained growth by managing budgets and sales forecasts, focusing on cost control to maximize net income.
  4. Operational Efficiency: Oversee logistics, estates, transport, and donation line functions for optimal value delivery.
  5. Health and Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards across all retail locations.
  6. Leadership and Team Development: Inspire and lead your team with a values-driven approach, fostering collaboration and agility.
  7. Performance Management: Promote a culture of performance management to celebrate successes and drive results.
  8. Brand and Visual Merchandising: Ensure high standards in visual merchandising, brand representation, and customer service.
  9. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, fundraising teams, and sector suppliers.
  10. Adapt to Market Changes: Stay ahead of trends and opportunities, ensuring the retail strategy adapts to economic changes.
