THE sounds of a hit Broadway musical come to our Woodseats shop this Saturday from 2pm.
The Woodseats store specialises in pre-loved wedding dresses and outfits and has been hosting a special bridal promotional event.
And that promotion heads towards its climax with a guest appearance by two of the actors from Woodseats Musical Theatre Company, whose next production will be romantic comedy favourite The Wedding Singer!
The stars of the show - Adam Walker and Georgina Hartley-Willows - will serenade Saturday afternoon customers with songs from the production, which runs at Sheffield’s Montgomery Theatre from July 13 to 16.
“The Wedding Singer is full of fantastic music plus vibrant, energetic dance routines and it takes us back to a time when hair was big, collars were up and a wedding singer could be the coolest guy in the room,” said Woodseats Musical Theatre Company chairman May Newey.
“We’ll be taking a look at the shop's full wedding range while we’re there just to see if there’s a great dress for one of the show’s brides.
“And we’ll be having a good look around too to see if there are any 1980s bargains for us to pick up.”
