As the daughter of our founder, Eric Wilkes, St Luke's was engraved in my heart from a very young age. Even before we opened, I have clear memories of the passion my parents had in the belief it was the right thing to do for the people of Sheffield. That passion and dedication to exceptional care never wavered. It is a testament to all involved in St Luke's that the care continues to be incredible and the support and services available to our patients continue to be at the heart of everything.
I was privileged to start my nursing career by working at St Luke's as an auxiliary before starting my training. I am forever grateful for the lessons, skills, and knowledge I gained there, which I have continued to live by throughout my career.
