ONE of Sheffield’s most popular markets has raised £1,000 for our patient care.
The Nether Edge Farmers’ Market is held four times each year and is now a well-established and popular feature of Sheffield life.
Launched 12 years ago, the market has now donated more than £80,000 to local charities.
And following the market’s most recent date, chairman David Pierce visited St Luke’s to present a cheque for £1,000.
“We are delighted that we were chosen as one of the charities the market is supporting throughout the year,” said our Community Fundraiser Ellie Matthews.
“We want to thank both the market and its many visitors - their support really will make a massive difference to the lives of our patients and their families.”
