WHEN Chesterfield Special Cylinders launched a year of support for our patient services, team member Josh Parkin decided to throw himself into the fundraising…by signing up for a skydive!
The company, which is based on Meadowhall Road in Sheffield, is a world-leading provider of bespoke, high-pressure gas containment solutions and services.
And after choosing us as theircharity of the year, there are a host of fundraising initiatives to look forward to, ranging from a donation bag collection for the St Luke’s shops to Josh’s skydive.
“We are delighted that as we continue to celebrate our 50th anniversary, Chesterfield Special Cylinders have decided to give us a year of support,” said our Fundraising Account Manager Matthew Sheridan.
“Their fundraising initiatives really will make a great difference to the lives of all our patients, both at the hospice and in the wider community.
“We really do wish Josh well as he takes to the skies – and hope that some of his colleagues might even decide to join him!”
