THE Personal Group annual Golf Day has raised more than £1,000 for our patient care.
The popular sporting challenge was held at Otley Golf Club and joint winners James Bown and Jamie Hirst of Arriva Buses, Wakefield, and Phil Bown of Unite the Union made a donation of £1,100 to St Luke’s.
“Phil and James had a relation who was a patient at St Luke's so it is an organisation close to their heart,” said our Fundraising Account Manager Matthew Sheridan.
“We are delighted that the Personal Group and their guests from Arriva Buses and Unite the Union chose to support us this way.
“In this our 50th anniversary year, we are so pleased that the people of Sheffield are continuing to support us and help us with the vital fundraising that allows our services to continue.”
