THE annual St Luke’s Golf Day has raised more than £5,000 after going ahead post lockdown.
The Golf Day, which is organised by the Rotary Club of Sheffield and sponsored by Sheffield data protection specialists Bruce and Butler, was held at Abbeydale Golf Club.
And with 35 teams taking part in the special sporting challenge, the day raised a final total of more than £5,000.
Our Head of Fundraising Joasia Lesniak said: “Our Golf Day is always extremely popular and this year’s event was no exception.
“Even though the whole day was pushed back from June to October because of lockdown restrictions, we were delighted that so many teams still managed to find the time to join us and that they raised such a fantastic amount.
“Now we are looking forward to our 2021 event, which will return to its usual June slot.”
