RESTAURANT chain Ask Italian brought a splash of spring colour to St Luke’s with a special floral delivery.
Flowers had been ordered as part of the Cambridge Street restaurant’s spring menu launch event.
But when the COVID-19 lockdown meant the event had to be cancelled, the whole Ask Italian chain decided that blooms that had been destined for their restaurants throughout the country should go to local hospices instead.
And at St Luke’s, receptionists Jenny Lloyd and Catrina Bonnington were on hand to receive the special delivery.
“This is a lovely gesture and one that will be very much appreciated by our staff and patients at this difficult time,” said Jenny.
“We are delighted that the Ask Italian team thought about us in this way.”
