CLAIRE Cruickshank has raised more than £2,000 for St Luke’s after months of fundraising in memory of mum Helen.
As a thank you for all the care Helen received during her time in our In Patient Centre, artist Claire created a piece of work which is now on display in the staff room.
But she has also launched a series of fundraisers with her friend Nicola Hough, including a Gin Night and, more recently, a Mince Pie and Mulled Wine Night.
And a tribute page on the St Luke’s website in memory of Helen - Helen tribute - has currently raised in excess of £2,000.
The Christmas season has also seen her at her busiest as she makes personalised Christmas cards, baubles and various other craft items for sale on behalf of St Luke’s.
“Claire has taken such an imaginative and inspiring approach to supporting St Luke’s,” said our Community Fundraising Coordinator Zoe Manders.
“Her creativity really does make a difference to the lives of our patients and their families.”
