BIG Issue seller Carol Corby made a very special donation to our patient care.
Carol’s father was a patient at St Luke’s 20 years ago and it was in his memory that Carol decided to donate some of the money she raises through sales of the magazine to the hospice.
And when fellow sellers joined her, she raised a final total of £35, which she presented to St Luke’s Community Fundraising Coordinator Zoe Manders.
“We were delighted that Carol and her fellow Big Issue sellers thought of us,” said Zoe.
“We were all very moved by this extremely thoughtful and generous gesture.”
