SHEFFIELD estate agency Saxton Mee has raised £50,000 for our patient care with its innovative approach to property sales.
The company - which has offices spread over Sheffield, the Hope Valley and Derbyshire - donates monies to St Luke’s from properties they sell on behalf of supporters of St Luke’s.
Saxton Mee director Linda Crapper said: “My friend’s mum died at St Luke’s and they looked after her so well that that I felt we had to do something to support the charity.
“So many people’s lives are touched by St Luke’s and this seemed like the most positive way that we, as a company, could give something back to them.
“We are extremely proud of our excellent partnership with one of Sheffield’s best loved and most deserving charities.”
Our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder said: “As well as supporting us with their house sale scheme, Saxton Mee have also been the headline sponsors for our Enchanted Winter Ball and even entered a team for the Sheffield 10k!
“This level of support is the mark of a very special and important relationship and one that we look forward to maintaining for many years to come.”
