An evening of classical favourites supports Master Cutler’s Challenge

ACCLAIMED soprano Charlotte Kenny will join the Rotherham Symphony Orchestra for a concert in aid of the 2019 Master Cutler’s Challenge at Sheffield Cathedral.

The September 8 evening with a Proms theme will feature pieces by Richard Strauss, Saint Saens, Grieg, Massenet, Badelt, Borodin, Arlen, Coates, Wood, Elgar and Parry.

The Master Cutler’s Challenge is the annual event which sees businesses sign up to use their entrepreneurial skills and teamwork to make as much money as possible for charity.

This year's fundraiser is supporting both St Luke's and Rotherham Hospice.

‘This is going to be such a fantastic evening,” said Master Cutler Nick Cragg. “We so much appreciate all of the support which is being given to the event and look forward to welcoming everyone too what we hope will be a packed event.”

Tickets cost £15 from www.stlukeshospice.org.uk/cathedral and there are also corporate sponsorship packages available from £500.
