ACCLAIMED Sheffield glass artist Alison Zwaard is giving a clearer view of fundraising as she supports St Luke’s.
Alison is one of the artists taking part in Sheffield Open Studios, the annual opportunity to see craftspeople in their working studios and find out more about the huge amount of creativity that happens in Sheffield and surrounding areas.
This year’s events will be held between 11am and 5pm on May 4, 5 and 6 and then on May 11 and 12.
And Alison will be opening her Handmade Studio at 37 Steade Rd, Nether Edge – and supporting St Luke’s.
Visitors will be able to try their hand at fused glass and make a dish in return for a £10 donation to St Luke’s.
The studio is also exhibiting Poster art by the Sheffield legend, Martin Bedford, pieces from Octopus Arts Leather Works and prints of Martin Jenkinson's iconic photographs, which are currently on exhibition at Weston Park Museum.
Tea, coffee or a glass of Prosecco and homemade cake will also be available in the studio’s quirky sculptural garden, again in return for a donation to St Luke’s.
