MEMBERS of nationally acclaimed and award winning Sheffield music group Hallmark of Harmony hit all the right notes when they made a special Christmas visit to St Luke’s.
The four-part close-harmony barbershop style choir has visited to entertain patients, families and staff every Christmas Day for 40 years.
And to celebrate the anniversary, we this year presented the singers with a Sheffield-made silver salver as well as keyrings for each of the choir members, made by patients and volunteers.
In addition to the Christmas Day visit, the choir also fundraise for St Luke’s annually with their Christmas sing out in the train station, Winter Garden and other city centre venues, this year raising a total of £689.
“Our relationship with the Hallmark of Harmony singers is one that is valued enormously by everybody at St Luke’s,” said our Community Fundraising Manager Megan Senior.
“As we celebrated 40 years of singing, we were delighted to be able to give the singers their own special Christmas gift.”
