INTREPID Rebecca Murton raised more than £1,000 in memory of father-in-law Neil Murton when she took to the skies for St Luke’s.
Neil, who lived in Beighton, was 68 when he died at St Luke’s after losing his fight against cancer.
And Rebecca was so impressed by the support all the family received from the St Luke’s team that she signed up to take part in a fundraising sky dive, raising a final total of £1,149.
Neil’s time at St Luke’s was made comfortable for him and us as a family due to the kind, caring staff and volunteers,” Rebecca explained.
Our Community Fundraising Assistant Karan Taylor added: “We were delighted when Rebecca decided she wanted to help us in this way.
“The money she raised will go directly towards providing the same levels of care and support that her family experienced during Neil’s time at St Luke’s.”
The next St Luke’s Sky Dive day will be on May 4 2019. For further information email: Sky Dive
