TEN St Luke’s runners have raised more than £3,000 for the Sheffield charity after taking up the challenge of the famous Great North Run.
The Great North Run is the biggest half marathon in the world - this year 57,000 people lined up on the start line in Newcastle.
And among them were the St Luke’s runners, including the charity’s own Community Fundraising Manager Megan Senior.
“The atmosphere on the day was absolutely electrifying and I think that really encouraged all ten of us to do our very best,” Megan said.
“For everybody to have raised such a great sum really will make an enormous difference to the lives of all our patients.”
