FIRST SOUTH YORKSHIRE is celebrating 20 years of supporting St Luke’s by hosting a special fundraising open day on Sunday September 16.
The local bus operator has supported St Luke’s by providing free shuttle bus services to special events and is continuing this support by holding an open day at its Olive Grove Depot and is encouraging locals to attend and support the event, which will run from 11am until 4pm.
Among the attractions throughout the day will be rides on a selection of modern and heritage vehicles, an opportunity to experience a bus wash ride, a bus pull by a local strong man and a chance to look around the depot and visit exciting stalls.
There will also be a special naming ceremony to launch the event and celebrate the company’s partnership with St Luke’s.
“This is a partnership that has meant a great deal to our supporters over the years” said our Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager Joasia Lesniak.
“We thank First for their many years of support and commitments to St Luke’s and look forward to continuing this special partnership for many years to come.”
