SHEFFIELD contact centre Knowhow has made a £1,000 donation to our patient care.
Staff at the company which provides support services for Currys PC World, Dixons Travel and Carphone Warehouse were given the opportunity to vote for a local charity to receive a special cash gift and they selected us.
Our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder visited to company to receive the £1,000 donation from Centre Manager Jason Roberts, who commented: "Out of all the local and national charities we support, St Luke's has continued to remain one of the most popular charities amongst our colleagues.
“This is hardly surprising as St Luke's are fantastic and work incredibly hard to improve the standard of life for patients and their families in time of need.
“It is a great pleasure to be able to help support your work and hope that this donation will make a small difference to the care you can provide”
Jack said: “We are so pleased that the Knowhow team understood the importance of the work St Luke’s does for all the people of Sheffield.
“We need to raise £6.3 million annually to maintain our current levels of service so this level of support means a great deal to our patients and their families.”
