BACON, sausage, eggs, beans…and a special helping of Santa Claus!
They always say that a hearty breakfast is the perfect start to the day and when you add Father Christmas into the mix, it’s a recipe for perfect Christmas magic.
Sheffield independent department store Atkinsons hosted a special Breakfast with Santa event, playing host to around 40 children and their families.
And money raised during the tasty morning treat is being donated to our patient care as part of a year-long fundraising partnership with the shop.
“Atkinsons is one of Sheffield’s best known and loved brands and we are delighted that they have chosen us as their charity in their 145th anniversary year,” said our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder.
“We thank not only Atkinsons but also their loyal staff and customers for supporting events like Breakfast with Santa and we look forward to working closely with them on many more events as we go into 2018.”
Store manager David Cartwright added: “It was a really magical morning and all the credit must go to Aly and her amazing team in our Atkinsons restaurant, the kind volunteers from St Luke’s, and of course the smiles on the faces of the kids which made our first ever Breakfast with Santa event an unforgettable one.”
