Puckator supports hospice anniversary Festival of Light

St Luke’s Hospice celebrates its 20th annual Festival of Light this Sunday...with the support of sponsors Puckator.

The international gift wholesalers are for the second year running backing the Sunday, December 3 event. In addition to their sponsorship of the event, Puckator are also this year providing St Luke’s with themed merchandise for use on the evening.

This year’s Festival – for many people the start of the Christmas season – is hosted by BBC Radio Sheffield’s Paulette Edwards, with music from Oughtibridge Brass Band and the Sheffield Harmony choir.

Adding to the Festive atmosphere, there will also be a hog roast, mulled wine and mince pies, with a free park and ride service from Tesco, Abbeydale Road, provided by First.

Starting at 5pm – with the switch on ceremony at 6.15pm - the Festival of Light is a wonderful way to remember loved ones and make a difference to the lives of St Luke’s patients.

Matt Shaw, Sales Director at Puckator, said “we are delighted to be supporting the Festival of Light. Last year we were honoured to take part to support such a worthy cause for the Sheffield community and so naturally we jumped at the chance to help again this year. The mulled wine was splendid indeed, but we are sure it was the hot chocolate with marshmallows and lashings of cream that really topped off the festive feelings. We are all looking forward to seeing this year’s guests on Sunday”.
