Staff at Sheffield solicitors Taylor & Emmet LLP have combined their professional skills and sporting prowess to raise almost £5,000 for our patient care.
The firm has donated £4,767 to help us continue to give adults with terminal illnesses the best possible quality of life.
Taylor & Emmet’s probate team took part in our annual Wills Month, creating more than 30 new and updated wills for clients, in return for a donation. The initiative kicked off the firm’s fundraising, banking £3,145.
A magnificent seven members of the conveyancing, employment law, probate, personal injury and support departments completed Sheffield’s 10k Run for All on behalf of St Luke’s.
The employment team then donned their trainers for a second time to take part in the Night Strider walking half marathon, collecting a further £1,622 in sponsorship from colleagues, family and friends.
Tom Draper, Taylor & Emmet’s head of employment law, spearheaded the firm’s fundraising efforts.
He said: “There are few people in Sheffield who have not been affected in some way by the wonderful work carried out by St Luke’s and this was reflected in the goodwill our activities engendered. It is not the first time we have supported this invaluable organisation and I would like to thank everyone who donated their time and money so generously.”
