It might seem just like old junk jewellery to you…but to us it’s the next best thing to buried treasure!
We need you to people to hand over any old gold or silver pieces of jewellery – even things that are broken or have missing parts.
“That single earring or that bracelet with the broken clasp that’s been in the bottom of your jewellery box for years could be really useful for us,” said our Area Retail Manager Chris Quinlan.
“These are all things we can sell and that means more money for our patient care.
“Similarly, we are also able to take any old, discarded or broken mobile phones because we are able to make an income from the recycling of mobile phone parts, even if the phone is broken, has a smashed screen, or is outdated.”
Items can be taken to any of the 14 St Luke’s shops during normal opening hours – check the St Luke’s website at St Luke's for individual opening time details.
