CUSTOMERS at Sheffield pub the White Hart have raised more than £11,000 for our patient care.
And when new landlady Karine Cherrill took over at the popular Greenhill pub she decided that the tradition of fundraising for St Luke's should continue, especially as her mum had been a patient.
Successful fundraisers so far this year have included the annual White Hart sponsored walk to Bakewell, a raffle and generous donations from customers, with a special evening of food and entertainment bringing the 2017 total to £1,337.69.
“To have raised so much money for our patient care is an extraordinary achievement,” said our Community Fundraising Manager Megan Senior.
“The White Hart regulars have consistently shown how imagination and enthusiasm can do so much for a great cause.”
