PUPILS at Sheffield independent school Westbourne have chosen St Luke’s as their charity of the year.
The Broomhill co-educational school will now spend the next 12 months supporting our patient care in a host of fundraising activities.
“Our charity of the year is always chosen through a vote by the pupils and we are delighted that this year they selected St Luke’s,” said Westbourne Junior School Head Lisa Cannell.
“As one of Sheffield’s longest established independent schools we are very pleased to be working alongside one of the city’s best loved charities and we are already thinking of the many exciting ways we will be able to fundraise for them.”
Our Fundraising Manager Megan Senior commented: “We already have a long established link with Westbourne and it is very rewarding to know that the pupils themselves voted to support us in the year ahead.
“These children are the next generation of St Luke’s supporters and we look forward to working with them very closely over the next 12 months on a whole range of great projects.”
