Sheffield law firm Best Solicitors have sponsored a major new event on our St Luke’s events calendar.
On Sunday 31 July we will launch our Summer Celebration of Life, a special event at which friends and supporters of St Luke's will be able to contribute to a unique piece of art that will transform our gardens at the height of summer.
Sheffield artist, potter and ceramic design expert Darrell Milnes has created hundreds of ceramic flowers in vibrant St Luke’s pink - each hand painted by our patients and volunteers - that will form the focus of the afternoon.
And for a minimum donation of £46 – the cost of two hours of complete care for a patient in our In Patient Centre - supporters of the celebration will receive their very own limited edition, hand painted ceramic flower as a keepsake.
The unique handcrafted flower will be presented in a gift box, and accompanied by a wooden leaf, inscribed with the name of a loved one.
Each flower will also come with a certificate that marks the inaugural year and records the number of the flower in the overall series.
