SHEFFIELD’S Renegades Car Club has launched its support for our services by raising more than £100.
The city’s leading car club has chosen to back us in recognition of the many members who have had cancer or received our support.
“We have a member and very good friend who has only recently lost his partner to cancer,” said Renegades representative Lauren Williams.
“At the meet we had stalls, including a tombola, and Vinyl Vision attended with their sticker stall.
“As soon as the meet started the car park started filling up quickly with members who came to support St Luke’s.
“People all donated and many had a go on the stalls, and everything everything they made on the night into the charity buckets.
“We were also joined by a South Yorkshire Police officer, who supported the event and even let us take a picture with himself and his police car!”
Our Account Manager Anna Gott commented: “We are delighted that the Renegades members have chosen to support us and their donation of £104.96 really will make a difference to the lives of our patients and their families.
“They now also plan to support us again with a meet in the summer of 2022.”
