Welcome back to our shops

We are delighted to be able to confirm that we are now preparing for the relaunch of our retail operations as Covid lockdown regulations ease from April 12.

Altogether, our retail operations raise almost £3 million annually towards the more than £7.5 million that needs to be raised every year to maintain services for the terminally ill people of Sheffield and their families.

Opening their doors again on April 12 will be nine of our 13 shops at Crookes, Woodseats, Gleadless, Hillsborough, City Road, Crystal Peaks, Chapeltown, Broomhill and Ecclesall Road.

Shops in Stocksbridge, Nether Edge, Abbeydale and Firth Park are scheduled to re-open soon after, between April 22 and May 3.

Also opening up again on April 12 will be our Donation Centre at Fieldhouse Way, near Meadowhall - the easy way to donate pre-loved items for re-sale.

The St Luke’s donation line will also operating again on 0114 2357562 for people wanting to arrange furniture collections.

“As we emerge from this extended period of lockdown, our primary concern is once again the safety of our staff and customers,” said our Head of Retail Marie Egerton.

“We have once again followed all official guidelines and have implemented the measures that allow our retail operations to resume.

“We do look forward very much to welcoming back all our customers and hope that they will be enjoy picking up some great bargains as we go into spring and summer

“We are very aware that during lockdown, our supporters have been gathering together items for donation and those donations are now going to be vital to the success of our shops.

“We’re expecting to be really busy with donations and furniture collections so please bear with us if you experience any delays.

“Donations can be taken to any of our re-opened shops or to our Donation Centre between 12 noon and 3pm Mondays and Fridays.”
