Dave Smith prepares to retire from his post as Area Director South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire & Humberside for TSB Bank with a special fundraising challenge in support of St Luke’s that raised almost £2,000.
Dave, who has been with the bank for 38 years, has been offering extensive support to St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield since 2015, supporting the partnerships between St Luke’s and the Meadowhall, Abbey Lane and Sheffield branches, taking part in the 2017 Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, running the Sheffield 10K and cycling between all the branches in his area on one day.
In addition he has organised volunteers, item donations to the shops and encouraged support from colleagues, clients and customers.
And as a special farewell, he asked colleagues, friends and family to join him for a walk between Worksop and Retford, raising £1,905.
