ONE of the region’s best loved running challenges has raised more than £5,000 for our patient care.
The annual Percy Pud 10k Race is organised by Steel City Striders Running Club and sees more than 3,000 people competing.
And this year saw a dedicated St Luke’s team taking part and raising sponsorship, with the club itself making a donation that brought the final total to £5,421.
“St Luke’s have been so touched to receive the support of Steel City Striders for the past two years, and are incredibly proud to be associated with the much loved Percy Pud,” said our Community Fundraising Manager Megan Senior.
“This winter’s event was another wonderful success and the £5,421 raised will make a great contribution to our patient care.”
