LORD Mayor of Sheffield Coun Denise Fox had time to chat with our patients and staff when she made an official visit to St Luke’s.
Coun Fox has chosen us as one of her official charities for her year of office.
During her visit to our In-Patient and Therapies and Rehabilitation Centres she was able to talk to Chief Executive Peter Hartland and Deputy Chief Executive Judith Park about the way we work with patients and their families across Sheffield – and to the care that our staff give in action.
“We were delighted when Coun Fox chose St Luke’s as one of the organisations to be supported by the Lord Mayor’s Charity Fund in 2016,” said Peter.
“And we were very pleased to have this opportunity to show her just how the money we receive through the generosity of the people of Sheffield is spent.
“She has already supported many St Luke’s events – including our Summer Celebration of Life and our recent Night Strider charity walk – and we look forward to welcoming her many more times in the months ahead.”
