Celebration of Life is our annual summer garden party where we remember and celebrate the lives of our loved ones by sharing precious memories with others in our community.
Our community came together on Sunday 30 July 2017 in our beautiful garden for an afternoon full of joy and remembrance.
We encouraged supporters to write a memory of a loved one to share in our daisy chain display. These memories, stories and special moments connected our community during an uplifting and poignant afternoon of remembrance and celebration. The daisy chain display will be exhibited at the
Art in the Gardens art exhibition on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September.
In addition to the daisies, we invited supporters to tell us the names of the important people in your life to be recorded in our Book of Celebration. The book was available to view on the day and we will plant the Book of Celebration next spring in St Luke’s garden to grow wildflowers in the coming years. The Book of Celebration will be available to view in the St Luke’s chapel until December.
