SOUTH Yorkshire commercial insurance and risk management specialists ProAktive are getting into the saddle and hitting the road as they use pedal power to support our patient care.
The company’s June 4 100 mile 2020 cycle challenge is being billed as the ProAktive Tour de Yorkshire, a charity event now in its fifth year.
But even though it sets off from Tickhill Cricket Club – very much in Yorkshire – it will then head out to the Lincolnshire seaside town of Cleethorpes and back, taking in the Lincolnshire Wolds along the way.
A participants’ entry fee of £60 also includes fish and chips and refreshments along the way.
“We think this is a great way to take the word about a great Yorkshire charity beyond the county boundary,” said our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder.
“We are so pleased that ProAktive are continuing to support us in 2020 and we look forward to welcoming back at the end of their journey.”
ProAktive HR Manager Angela Stancer commented: “This is always a popular well attended event and we really look forward to supporting St Luke’s this year.
“If we can arrange a nice sunny day it will make for a perfect event.”
