THE team at Sheffield company Vulcan Seals doubled their £1,000 charity target as they proved they have what it takes to be champion Tough Mudders.
Between them the 22 adventure seekers managed to raise a marvellous £1,898 when they took part in the notoriously difficult, wet and muddy ten mile Tough Mudder obstacle course.
And that money went to the 2019 Master Cutler’s Challenge which raised money for St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield and Rotherham Hospice.
“The Tough Mudder really is one of the most demanding fundraising challenges you can take on and we are delighted that the Vulcan Seals team did so well,” said St Luke’s Corporate Fundraising manager Jack Kidder.
“Their outstanding efforts really will make a massive difference to the lives of hospice patients and their families in both Sheffield and Rotherham.”
