SHEFFIELD Hallam University students raised more than £400 for our patient services with a day of charity events.
The students, who are all studying International Events and Conference Management, had to create a fundraiser as one of their study modules.
And the attractions they came up with – including a yoga event, film screening and a bring-and-buy sale – raised a final total in excess of £400.
“What this special day demonstrated was that lots of small events can have a major impact,” said our Fundraising Assistant Zoe Manders.
“We are delighted that the students chose to support us in this innovative way and the money they raised will make a big difference to the lives of our patients, both within the hospice and in the wider community.”
