STAFF at regional accountancy firm Shorts have discovered the pleasure of keep fit after taking part in the Asda Foundation Sheffield 10k on behalf of St Luke’s.
The runners raised £620 for our patient care by competing in the popular annual event.
In fact, they enjoyed the challenge so much that they have now set up their own running group.
And they have also secured places in the annual Percy Pud event, which this year is officially supporting St Luke’s.
“Shorts are proud to support a number of local charities and we are delighted at the amount we have raised in support of St Luke’s,” said Shorts Managing Partner Andy Irvine.
Our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder added: “We are delighted that the Shorts team enjoyed themselves so much that they are now getting into practice for future events.
“We’ll particularly look forward to seeing them along with our other St Luke’s runners at the start line for Percy Pud in December.”
