A great season of sport and sponsorship has helped raise more than £7,000 for our patient care.
Tajinder Singh of Totley Pharmacy is vice president of Sheffield United as well as a keen St Luke's supporter.
And with his support throughout the season, the Sheffield United family has been raising money for our services.
“That support has come in many different ways, including match day collections, auction prize donations and trust gifts,” said our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder.
“But Tajinder’s tireless enthusiasm has also given us many more fundraising opportunities, including match day hospitality opportunities for our supporters and even the chance to launch a donation station at the Totley Pharmacy store, giving St Luke’s even greater access to the community in Totley and Dore.
“The resulting £7,115 will make an enormous difference to the lives of St Luke’s patients and their families and we look forward to continuing and developing our relationship with Tajinder, Sheffield United and also the McCabe family charity, namely The Scarborough Group Foundation, in the future.”
Tajinder commented: “At Totley Pharmacy, we are very proud to support St Luke's who share our core values of providing the very best care.
“We are delighted that our partnership, as well as raising the profile of St Luke's, has raised these extra funds.”
