SUPPORTING St Luke’s is as safe as houses for clients of Sheffield estate agency Saxton Mee.
The company, which has eight offices spread over Sheffield, Hope Valley and Derbyshire, has extended its hugely popular scheme of donating its sales fee, less expenses, to our patient care from properties sold through them by St Luke’s supporters.
This means, for example, that a house sold at £200,000 through Saxton Mee would mean a donation of almost £2,000 to St Luke’s.
Saxton Mee director Linda Crapper said: “My friend’s mum died at St Luke’s and they looked after her so well that that I felt we had to do something to support the charity.
“So many people’s lives are touched by St Luke’s and this seemed like the most positive way that we, as a company, could give something back to them.
“The campaign has proved so successful that is seemed an obvious choice to continue and maintain this excellent partnership with one of Sheffield’s best loved and most deserving charities.”
Our St Luke’s Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager Joasia Lesniak commented: “This is a fantastic partnership for the hospice and we are delighted that Saxton Mee has decided to continue with the scheme”
“We need to raise at least £6.3 million every year to maintain our excellent levels of service for all the people of Sheffield so this level of support from Saxton Mee really will have a major impact.”
