SHEFFIELD and Hallamshire County Football Association has raised almost £800 for our patient care.
Formed in 1867, Sheffield and Hallamshire County FA can claim to be the first County Football Association in the country to be established.
It is the regional governing body for football and directly affects 120,000 people involved with grassroots football in the area every week.
And it furthered its links with the wider community with a special awards dinner at Baldwin’s Omega for their volunteers and supporters, raising a final total of almost £800 to support our services.
“We are delighted that at this very special community event, the club decided to make an even greater level of involvement by supporting St Luke’s,” said our Community Fundraising Manager Megan Senior.
“The money raised on the evening really will make enormous difference to the lives of all our patients and their families.”
