AN enthusiastic crowd of eager bargain hunters gathered for the opening of our latest shop.
Almost a hundred shoppers were at our new City Road store at Manor Top, all keen to be the first to spot a great shopping deal.
And popular Sheffield singer Paul Pashley added a musical note to the opening of the 14th in the award winning chain of city wide shops.
Paul, a former contestant on TV talent show The Voice, is the nephew of our shop manager Tracey Eyre and he was delighted to be able to give his time to attracting shoppers with a selection of some of his favourite swing and jazz numbers.
“It is absolutely no exaggeration to say we enjoyed a record breaking morning and we were delighted that so many people were there for when we opened the doors,” said our Area Retail Manager Marie Egerton.
“Based on our first day’s sales, we are confident that Manor Top will be a successful addition to our retail operation, featuring our usual blend of clothing, accessories, household items, bric-a-brac, books, CDs and DVDs.
“But you have to remember that when we are selling so much, the demand is even greater for items so please do think of us if you’re having a spring clean and bring your unwanted items to us any time during normal shop hours.”
