THE young stars of Splinters Theatre Group have raised almost £500 for St Luke’s patients
Collections at their most recent show – audience favourite Loserville - along with regular fundraisers like bake sales brought the final total raised by the young actors and singers to £471.88.
The cast chose to support us because several members have had family members cared for by St Luke's and the cake sales were just the start of a raft of fundraising ideas, which also saw group chairman Andy Hibbert taking part in a 10k run.
The company’s next show is Rock of Ages at The Octagon, University of Sheffield, from February 22 to 25.
