BAM Construction is starting work on its latest major Sheffield building project…and building its relationship with two of the city’s best loved charities.
Throughout the time the company was working on Project Cavendish – the new HSBC office development in Sheffield city centre – it also supported St Luke’s, raising a total of £10,000.
Now the company has moved on to the construction on the University of Sheffield’s new Social Sciences Building and at the same time has extended its support for St Luke’s and also the new site’s neighbour, Weston Park Cancer Charity.
In the months ahead, BAM will be running various fundraising activities on site as well as engaging clients and contacts with some larger scale events.
“We are delighted that BAM have decided to extend their support for St Luke’s,” said our Corporate Fundraising Manager Jack Kidder.
“They have already raised a fantastic amount for our patients and families are we are confident that this very special relationship will continue to flourish as work on the Social Sciences Building moves ahead.”
Speaking of the new partnership, Darren Hayes, Business Development Manager at Weston Park Cancer Charity commented: “We are looking forward to working with BAM Construction to improve the lives of people living with and beyond cancer.
“As one in two people are diagnosed with cancer, this new partnership will ensure that we can be there to support more people than ever before.”
