MINI fundraisers at St Marie’s School have raised more than £11,000 in a five year partnership with our fundraising team.
The children at the Fulwood primary school – supported by staff and parents – have raised £11,899.48 for our pati8ent care.
Part of the money has come from the pupils’ participation in the annual St Luke’s Biz Kids challenge – this year saw the school take the award for top fundraiser with a more than £4,000 raised through a host of entrepreneurial ideas – but regular events have also made a massive contribution to the final sum.
“The St Marie’s children have proved consistently that you are never too young to support a great cause,” said our Fundraising Assistant Zoe Manders.
“Their enthusiasm is extraordinary and with the backing of staff and parents they really are making an enormous difference to the lives of all St Luke’s patients and their families.”
