Ego at The Dore Moor Inn is now open to the public following an extensive refurbishment inside and out. Following a six-week refurbishment the venue has been completely transformed into a modern and eye-catching restaurant and pub whilst keep in tact many of the original features of the building.
As part of the opening, Ego also held two charity launch nights raising money for the much-loved St Luke’s Hospice. As part of this, guests were invited to choose two courses from the a la carte menu for a £15 donation to the charity. This has enabled Ego at The Dore Moor Inn to raise £2,625 for the charity.
‘This is our way of saying thank you to such an incredible and long-standing charity in Sheffield. The work they do throughout the City changes the lives of so many people and they are thoroughly deserving of this donation from the wonderful guests we welcomed for our opening nights,” explained James Mobbs, Head of Marketing for Ego Restaurants.
Zoe Manders, Community Fundraising Assistant: We are absolutely thrilled with the support Ego at The Dore Moor Inn have given us at their charity open nights, the money raised will make such a difference to our patients and their families.
