FUNDRAISER Paul McNulty made it three times the fun as he hit the heights in support of our patient care.
Keen charity supporter Paul had already competed in the Sheffield Half Marathon and taken part in a Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in support of St Luke's.
But he saved his most daring effort for last as he joined an intrepid team of wing walkers, all taking to the skies in support of our services and between them raising almost £5,000.
The dizzying event took place at Wickenby Aerodrome in Lincolnshire, with Paul and his fellow adventurers strapped to the wings of a vintage Stearman aircraft for their moment of heart stopping action.
“This has to be one of our most exhilarating fundraising challenges but it’s also one that everybody loved on the day,” said our Community Fundraising Manager Megan Senior.
“Paul and our other wing walkers really did put the fun into fundraising with their aerial displays.”
