CHARITY support and networking organisation The Charity Hub has made us a donation of £130.
The Charity Hub is a network of experienced professional advisors specialising in charity law and governance, charity insurance, charity finance and charity employment Law and HR.
The network is aimed at Charity Trustees, Chief Executive Officers and other senior managers of charities and other not for profit organisations.
Guests at their most recent event were asked to make donations and we were selected to receive the cash.
Organiser Jay Bhayani commented: “I was delighted to present the proceeds of our collection from January’s Charity Hub networking event to St Luke’s Hospice.
“The Charity Hub is proving to be a very popular quarterly event, providing an opportunity for the charity sector to meet and gain valuable professional advice on all aspects of running a charity.
“The events are free but we collect a voluntary donation from attendees and pass the proceedings to one of the attending charities.”
Our Corporate Fundraising Coordinator Jack Kidder added: “The Charity Hub is a fantastic example of how the business community can support good causes.
“We are very pleased that on this occasion St Luke’s was chosen to receive the guests’ donation.”
