Registration for our annual Ask the Chef cooking course - aimed at those caring for someone with a terminal illness, or for themselves for the first in a long time - is now open.
Anyone who has visited St Luke’s and eaten in our café will know we’re very passionate about our food. Our Head Chef Nick and his team create simple yet nutritional meals for our patients, and our free six-week cooking course will teach you how to cook like our own chefs.
Whether you’re a novice in the kitchen or just need a refresher course, Ask the Chef is specifically designed for those caring for someone with a terminal illness, or for people cooking for themselves for the first time in a while. Covering everything from smoothies to soups and main meals to puddings, you’ll master a new creation each week.
The course starts on
Wednesday 6 April and takes place on Wednesday afternoons between 2.30pm and 4.30pm for six weeks thereafter, in our kitchen and café. At the end of the course, you’ll receive your own St Luke’s apron and an Ask the Chef recipe book so you can continue to impress your friends and family with your culinary masterpieces.
Places are limited for this course, so please get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Please note that you will need to be able to commit to all six of the sessions.
